While almost nothing went according to plan in our pandemic-altered 2020, one of the year’s bright spots has been continuing education in a virtual environment. Unable to attend in-person conferences and workshops, architects and designers have been flocking to virtual summits and other online training opportunities to earn continuing education credits from their home offices.

If you’re still completing your continuing education requirements for the year, check out the courses available at the Propane Training Academy. American Institute of Architects (AIA) members are required to satisfy a minimum of 18 learning units per year. Of this total, 12 must meet the Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) criteria. At the Propane Training Academy, you’ll find 18 courses approved for credit by the AIA, as well as other providers, including the National Association of Home Builders, Green Business Certification Inc. (which administers LEED credentialing) and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.

This year’s most popular commercial course is Propane Tankless Water Heating in Commercial Building Applications. The course covers the rapid rise of tankless water heating in buildings of all types due to its energy efficiency and flexible system designs that can be tailored to each building’s unique needs. It’s a great place to start learning. Other recently developed courses include Backup Power for Commercial Buildings and Propane Gas Systems: Considerations for Commercial Construction.
