Strauser Nature’s Helpers operates 75 percent of its mower fleet on propane, uses natural-based lawn treatments, and designs water-efficient landscapes in an effort to create clean and healthy green spaces for its customers to enjoy.
Propane fits into the company’s sustainability plan because it’s listed as an approved clean alternative fuel under the Clean Air Act of 1990 and has a lower carbon footprint than conventional gasoline and diesel fuel.
It’s why today the fuel transports 1.2 million children to and from school, why national parks like Acadia and Mammoth Cave use it to transport visitors and preserve the land, and why nearly 12 million U.S. households depend on it for water heating, clothes drying, cooking, backup power, and other applications.
